As a senior vice president with Bose Public Affairs Group, Don Blinzinger brings 40 years of government experience in Indiana and Washington, D.C., to meet the needs of the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Blinzinger served as senior vice president of legal and regulatory affairs at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center Inc., with responsibility for legislative and regulatory affairs at the state and federal
levels. Prior to joining St. Vincent, he variously served as an agency director and a department head under three state administrations.
Since joining the firm, Blinzinger has provided legislative and regulatory representation of utilities, banking, insurance, pharmaceutical, health care and commercial real estate clients. He has specialized experience with Indiana’s regulatory process and procurement policies. He has represented major clients in direct procurement and the protest of procurement awards. He also has provided consultation in issues management, grassroots development, political strategy and PAC management.
A graduate of Wabash College, he received a master’s degree from Florida State University. Blinzinger served as a member of the House Republican Campaign Committee and as a member of the McIntosh for Governor Advisory Committee in 2000. During 2002 and 2003, he served as chief of staff to House Republican leader Brian C. Bosma and the House Republican Caucus. Blinzinger was awarded a Sagamore of the Wabash by Indiana Gov. Robert D. Orr in 1986. He is a member of the Columbia Club, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana and the National Rifle Association.
