Tom Fruechtenicht is a consultant at Bose Public Affairs Group. Fruechtenicht
is an attorney, receiving a doctorate of jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. Elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 1972, he was re-elected for five consecutive terms. As state representative, he was elected House assistant minority caucus chairman, served as chairman of the House Public Policy Committee and as a member of the courts and criminal code and judiciary committees.
After 10 years as a representative, during which time he developed extensive
legislative skills in financial institutions, utility, and alcoholic beverage legislation, Fruechtenicht began working in governmental relations as a registered lobbyist
in 1983. His vast experience includes representing numerous clients before the
Indiana General Assembly and administrative agencies. He has represented large
corporations, small privately owned companies as well as nonprofit organizations.
He is a member of the Indianapolis and American Bar Associations, and the Indiana State Bar Association, where he served as chairman of the Young Lawyers Section and as a member of the board of managers. He also is a member of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana, the Columbia Club, the Indiana Historical Society and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. He is a Master Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation and was named a Sagamore of the Wabash.
