Justin Swanson is a vice president with Bose Public Affairs Group. A member of the firm’s state and local government relations team, Swanson brings several years of experience in municipal procurement and legislative affairs.
In addition to his public affairs practice, Swanson is of counsel with Bose McKinney & Evans LLP in the Governmental Services Group.
Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Swanson served as government affairs director and legislative counsel at Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. He also has served both majority caucuses of the Indiana General Assembly, and in 2007 was a congressional intern in the office of U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and is a 2012 Indiana University McKinney School of Law graduate.
Honors / Awards
In 2012, Swanson was awarded the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence for contributing more than 200 hours of pro bono service throughout his law school career.
Appointments / Memberships
Swanson is a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Leadership Forum, Downtown GOP Club, Indiana Hemp Industries Association and Horizon House. He serves on the Associate Member Advisory Council for the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. In addition, he is at large member for the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Government Practice Section and is ward chairman and precinct committeeman in Center Township.
