Bose Public Affairs Group Welcomes Rachel Sorvig as Public Relations Manager

Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman’s Communications Director to Join Strategic Communications Team

Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Rachel Sorvig has joined the firm as public relations manager. Sorvig will be based in the firm’s Indianapolis headquarters located on Monument Circle where she will work with local, state and national-level clients from a variety of industries.

Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Sorvig served as communications director for the Office of Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. In that role, she managed and executed the strategic communications for the Lt. Governor’s executive office, as well as five additional state agencies, including departments responsible for energy, agriculture, housing, community affairs and tourism.

Sorvig began her career in strategic communications with Indiana University in Bloomington where she served as communications assistant for the IU Board of Trustees.

A graduate of IU Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Sorvig is actively involved with the Public Relations Society of America (Hoosier Chapter) as chair of a committee that brings together PR professionals with media representatives for networking and sharing best practices. She also serves with the Foundation Fighting Blindness’ Indianapolis chapter as a member of a committee that raises funds in support of VisionWalk.
