Bose Public Affairs Group Promotes Rachel Sorvig to Public Relations Director
Indianapolis – Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Rachel Sorvig has been promoted to public relations director at the strategic communications and government relations firm. Sorvig will manage and develop strategy for local, state and national clients from a variety of business sectors.
“Rachel’s passion for client focused service has made her a go-to person for many companies we work with and her ability to get results consistently is why she is such an important part of our team,” said Roger Harvey, principal of Bose Public Affairs Group.
Since joining Bose Public Affairs Group in 2012, Sorvig has been involved in several award winning campaigns including honors from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Diamond Awards for excellence in crisis communications and for excellence in public affairs in the East Central District which includes Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Prior to joining Bose, Sorvig served as communications director for the Office of Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman where she managed and executed the strategic communications for the Lt. Governor’s executive office, as well as five additional state agencies, including departments responsible for energy, agriculture, housing, community affairs and tourism.
Sorvig is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. She also is actively involved with the Public Relations Society of America Hoosier Chapter and is a member of the Planning Committee for the Lt. Governor’s Leadership Luncheon for the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
