Public Relations Manager
Chris Wilson is the public relations manager at Bose Public Affairs Group. As a member of the strategic communication team, Wilson provides media and public relations strategy to clients from a wide range of industries. Wilson focuses on areas of media and public relations, strategic communications and social media strategy.
Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Wilson served as an executive producer at WISH-TV in Indianapolis. Wilson led a team of more than 20 journalists to execute a five hour broadcast. In addition to his daily role of producing a news program, Wilson was responsible for crisis management and social media strategy. He was with the station for eight years.
Wilson served as producer at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne from 2006 to 2008.
He is a graduate of Ball State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications.
Honors / Awards
While working in journalism, Wilson received two Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Lower Great Lakes Chapter and multiple awards from the Society of Professional Journalists Indiana Chapter and the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association.
Recently, Wilson was part of a project that was recognized with a Diamond Award from the Public Relations Society of America’s East Central District.
Appointments / Memberships
Wilson is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. He serves on the Ransburg YMCA Center Advisory Board and is a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter.
